Ga-brah

Led another BS today, and I think it was bad.

Not being able to manage group dynamics is one, although that is not that important, except for helping the rest to be able to concentrate without distraction.

But the real prob comes when you end up confusing people along the way, and the thing is not explained clearly. Then the point of the study probably is defeated altogether already, isn't it not?

Not that it's the first time that this has happened, but (in a way) thankfully it doesn't always happen all the time.

A whole lot to be worked on regarding this...a whole lot.

the point is to try to hold firm to the word and teach it accurately. you've tried your best, that's e important thing.. well, it's everyone's duty to sort things out for themselves and go home to study the word for themselves.. =)
guess you also must hone on your explanation skills lor.. try to be more clear..

if you can't even teach it accurately what IS the point of teaching?

gin: Thanks for your comment, it'd be good if you identified yourself and not remain anonymous, if you meant that to be a constructive remark. =)

taiyongchieh: Thanks bro, I know it's already a blessing, counting that I even have the chance to try and learn (hopefully) from my mistakes.. heh heh

I guess there's some misunderstanding here, when I said to identify yourself I meant identifying yourself so that I'd know who you are, if I know you (personally) in the first place.

Of course you can comment here without identifying yourself, but thanks anyway for saying who you are.

Well...God give each of us gifts, some in teaching, others in serving and so on. So don't be afraid to teach, (and u DID teach accurately), and to learn more. At least you did teach, not like others who CAN and DID NOT!

Woah, so many comments...

Personally, I think you taught WELL last thursday. (honest comment... not suaning here k!)

The confusion is more like a red-herring question... and it doesn't affect the accuracy of your teaching.

And I think you have improved a lot... as I recall the time when we were all supposed to lead colossians at the CGLG training retreat in front of WS...

One more to go this thurday... Jiayou! =)

We all learn by making mistakes. Keep praying and admitting your weakness before God...

Maybe get someone more experienced to sit in with you? But not to co-lead but to provide comments and tips for you. Or check with PA whether there can be a tie-up between ARPC and BTPC on the Potential Leadership Training course - it's quite helpful.
