New project?
Will be trying to do up a simple mailing list program for use, and also for practise. Maybe I'll post up the process and the documents generated in the process, if anyone is interested in looking at how (badly) I do it this time ;P

What program are you using? I'd be interested to follow. I never got my head wrapped around mailer daemons on any Unix system... least of all Solaris.
No mailer daemons to be coded here, just a PHP web app running off an Apache-Linux system.
There're some constraints for this particular project, which is the partial reason for doing it (the need for one): no 3rd party email addresses/mailing list managers, and running as a web app in a LAMP system with no "M" =O
Well, it'd be a good chance to exercise some brain cells along the way too ah.

No M - text based then? How many email addresses are you looking at to manage?

Yeah, will be text based. Talking about 2000+ email addresses. Very exciting for the server to process sequentially lol
